Unusual uses for waste from animals!

June 7, 2011

Waste in this day and age is a crime. When there is so much over consumption but so many still going hungry and so much damage being done to the environment, surely the least we can do is make the most of what we use?

Here’s a really interesting article from the BBC about unusual uses for animal by-products. Thanks to Duncan for sending me the link 🙂

That’s a nice link thanks. I actually ate a piece of cow that resembled a tennis raquet the other day. The point about pieces of a pig is not applicable in the Philippines, everything is eaten.

Try pasting this address into your browser, I hope it works. It has formed much of my interest in food production

Just watched the first bit of it (will finish after work meetings) but looks interesting and filmed in Devon too 🙂 If it wasn’t for the beautiful mountain outside of my window I’d feel really homesick!
