About
I struggled for a while to work out a summary title for what I wanted to write about in a blog which summed up the passions in my life. In the end I came up with this! I wanted a way to share with my friends, family and anyone who cares, my love of science (particularly environmental science and associated sustainability issues), travel and cooking!
I’m incredibly happy to be studying for a PhD in Oceanography in Cape Town, South Africa and getting to this point has lead me to some awesome places in the world where I have been able to expand my scientific knowledge and undertake some culinary adventures in the process.
I’ll be using this blog to amalgamate information on science – particularly my PhD journey, travel and share my culinary experiences along the way. The beautiful pictures are, for the most part, taken by Ben Loveday, who I’m lucky enough to share my life here with.
For a bit more history see my first blog post!>> History or how food, travel and science became my favourite things!
